Ingenious DIY fanatic uses packets of dried NOODLES to fix gaping hole in sink leaving it looking as almost good as new

An ingenious DIY fanatic has shown how he can use dried noodles to fix a broken sink, leaving it looking almost as good as new.  

Xiubandrng, 31, from Qingdao in China’s eastern Shandong province, videoed the method behind his remarkable fix on Monday. 

It shows the creative fixer crushing up packets of dried noodles before ramming them in a gap in the broken sink.

He then pours water over the food stuff, before moulding them into a paste and filling the large crevice. 

But there's still a little way to go before it looks convincing. The 31-year-old, who has posted numerous videos of his noodle fixes, retrieves some tools to finish it off. 

He uses a chisel to smooth out the surface of the noodle mixture, before smoothing out the surface with some sand paper. 

The final touches come in the form of some white spray paint, which he uses to blend the mixture in with the rest of the sink.

Once finished it looks almost comparable to a brand new sink, but he doesn't go so far as to test the fix with hot water from the tap.
