Assam HSLC Result 2019: Assam board class 10 results declared @ resultsassam.nic.in; 60% pass

NEW DELHI: The Board of Secondary Examination, Assam announced the results of the High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC)/Assam High Madrassa (AHM) Examinations today.
Out of 3,42,691 registered candidates around 3,36,203 students appeared for the examination. Around 2,02,508 (60.23%) candidates cleared the exam this year.
With 594/600 marks, Meghashree Borah of Sankardev Shishu Bidya Niketan, Narayanpur topped the Assam High School Leaving Certificate Examination 2019.
Two candidates - Chinmoy Hazarika (Don Bosco High School, Baghchung) and Pratyasha Medhi (St. Mary's H S School Guwahati-3) - with 593 marks secured second position while another two - Afreen Ahmed of Christjyoti School, Nagaon and Anushree Bhuyan of St. Mary's School Guwahati-3 - shared the third position. The duo gets 591 marks each.
Pass percentage of the male candidates was 4.7 per cent higher than their female counterparts. Boys secured 62.69 pass percentage while 57.99 per cent girls managed to clear the Class 10th examination this year.
Around 1,60,264 boys appeared for the exams and 1,00,475 passed while out of 1,75,939 around 1,02,033 girls cleared the their HSLC 2019.
Siddhartha Bhattacharya, education minister, will formally announce the results at a press conference at SEBA office today around 11:00 am.
The results of Class 10 (HSLC) has been declared today sharp 9:00 am on the official website - results.sebaonline.org as well as on the several partner websites.
Apart from the above mentioned websites, candidates who appeared in HSLC/AHM examination 2019, can check their results from the other official and partner websites such as -
resultsassam.nic.in,
assamresult.in and through mobile app SEBA Results 2019.
The HSLC and AHM examination was organised in the month of February/March, 2019.
On the downloaded mark sheets, the students will be able to check their division as well as subject-wise marks.
The students can download and print the copy of their mark sheet for advance information from the websites.
Candidates intending to get their evaluated answer scripts re-checked or photo-copy of answer scripts will have to apply through SEBA's online portal https://sebaonline.org and click on the link "re-checking or photocopy with re-checking of answer scripts". Online portal will be activated from May 17, 2019 and will be opened till May 31, 2019.
All the officer-in-charge of the centres of HSCL/AHM Examination 2019 will have to collect the packets containing results summary of the state along with compete results in CD, Marks Sheet and Pass Certificate etc. of the candidates of their respective centre from the office of the inspector of schools concerned on May 15, 2019 at 07:00 am and the head of the institutions will have to collect the same from the officer-in-charge of the concerned centre just before 11:00 am.
