Actor Vicky Kaushal is holidaying in New York and will reportedly celebrate his birthday in Big Apple on May 16. Ahead of it, he met actor Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in the city.

He also clicked a picture with the two veteran actors, which is now online . He is accompanied by a friend. Just two days back, Neetu had posted pictures with Deepika Padukone when she visited them. Rishi has been stationed in New York since September last year and has been undergoing treatment for cancer. While the family had been tight-lipped about his disease earlier, they confirmed recently that Rishi was now cancer-free and would soon return to India.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Randhir Kapoor has said in April: “Yes, he is much better, and he will come back soon. [On whether he is completely cured], he’s on his way to full recovery and it takes time, he’s got to finish the whole course, but he’s fine.” Later, Rishi too confirmed the news.

Vicky, meanwhile, has reportedly rented a villa in the suburbs of New York city and is chilling with college friends. He is reportedly on a two-week break from work and will ring in his 31st birthday with friends. He has been busy of late, working on Shoojit Sircar film titled Sardar Udham Singh. The first look of the film, shot in St Petersburg, was released on April 30 and showed Vicky in a new hairdo and a heavy overcoat.

Later in the year, Vicky also has Karan Johar’s Takht. A multi-starrer, the film will feature Vicky as Aurangzeb, Ranveer Singh as Dara Shikoh and Kareena Kapoor as Jahannara in a story, set in the later years of the Mughal era. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor.
