AP SSC 10th Result 2019: Out of the total number of 11,690 schools in the state, as many as 5,464 (46.47 per cent) schools recorded 100 per cent results. Three schools, including two private, and one government- aided school, got zero per cent results.

In a record performance, 94.88% of the students who appeared as regular candidates for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 examination conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Secondary Education were declared passed this year.

The results of the AP SSC 2019 were announced by Andhra Pradesh school education commissioner Sandhya Rani at her office at Vijayawada on Tuesday. The examinations were held from March 18 to April 3 this year.

Rani said in all, 6,30,082 students, including 6,19,494 as regular and 10,588 as private candidates, appeared for the examination. Nearly 94.88 per cent of the regular students passed the examination. While the pass percentage of the boys was 94.68, the girls recorded 95.09 pass percentage,

Among the privately appeared students, the total pass percentage was 58.82. The boys recorded the pass percentage of 56.72 and the girls 61.62.

Out of the total number of 11,690 schools in the state, as many as 5,464 (46.47 per cent) schools recorded 100 per cent results. Only three schools, including two private, and one government-aided school, got zero per cent results.

Among the districts, East Godavari recorded the highest passes with 98.19 per cent, while Nellore got the least passes with 83.19 per cent.

The commissioner said state-run residential schools got the most successful results with a pass percentage of 98.24 per cent, followed by BC welfare schools with 98.14 per cent. Private schools registered 98.09 per cent.

She said as many as 33,972 students accounting for 5.5 per cent of the total number of passed students got 10 out of 10 Grade Points Average (GPA).

The advanced supplementary examinations for the failed candidates will be held from June 17 to 29 from 9.30 am to 12.15 pm. The last date for the payment of examination fee for the supplementary examinations is June 6.

The students who want recounting of marks or re-verification of answer sheets can apply for the same by paying Rs 500 per subject either through challan or online on or before May 30
