ALLAHABAD: An exhibition at
Allahabad Museum has enthralled art lovers. The museum, which is exhibiting over 40 paintings of
Zaheda Khanam, is being visited by a number of
art lovers and students of different institutions.
The ongoing exhibition was inaugurated last month on the occasion of world heritage day, but going by the overwhelming response, it has been extended during this month too.
"Although there are over 40 paintings which display the rich heritage of the city, its architectural beauty etc, but to name a few, I have on display paintings of Khushru bagh, Hanuman mandir, Jama masjid of Chowk, the famous Company garden and the world renowned Kumbh Mela organised this year at Sangam," said Khanam.
Those who have applauded the paintings include director of the museum Sunil Gupta former professor Shyam Bihari Agarwal, director, Sangam Women Art Association Usufa Nafis, principal, Tagore Public School, Kaveri Viz, and many more.
