People across the globe are eagerly waiting for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 which will kick start from May 30. The time has come for the world to witness the best cricketing action in a long time as the ICC Cricket World Cup makes its periodic 4-year recurrence. With the road to the World Cup not an easy one for any team, the stakes will be higher in this year.
The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be held in England and Wales from May 30, 2019 to July 14, 2019. The participating teams are England (hosts), Australia, Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and West Indies.
While people are waiting for the ICC World Cup, the Free Press Journal lists down the website from where one can book the tickets and Hospitality packages for the matches.
Where to book tickets?
The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be held in England and Wales between 30 May – 14 July 2019, with 48 matches taking place across some of cricket’s most iconic venues. One can book tickets by going to the ICC’s official website, www.icc-cricket.com and clicking on the tickets tab.
The demand for the tournament tickets has been unprecedented with over 3 million applications for approximately 8,00,000 tickets, from 148 countries across six continents, ICC said in a statement.
Following unprecedented levels of demand for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 tickets during the ballot phases, the Additional tickets for all venues of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019 will be made available on ICC’s official website.
Ticket buyers have been asked to purchase tickets only from official ticket sellers for the World Cup. Tournament organisers are continuously monitoring illegal ticket-resale activity and are actively cancelling tickets offered for sale on unofficial third-party websites by individuals and companies.
