Punjab: Congress' Manpreet Badal calls PM Narendra Modi ‘Circus ka sher’

Congress leader and Finance Minister in the Punjab government, Manpreet Badal, criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for calling himself ‘India’s lion’, and said the latter was instead a ‘circus ka sher (circus lion).” Badal also slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its ‘poor’ governance at the centre and said the ruling party failed to live up to the hopes of the people.
