2019 Fiat 500 Star And Rockstar Range-Toppers Unveiled With Extra Chicness

Fiat cannot stop milking the modern-day 500, and in between launching countless special editions over the past 12 years, they have recently introduced two new range-topping models called the Star and Rockstar.

Described as a more elegant version of the small car aimed at young customers, the 500 Star is priced from £15,395 ($20,002/€17,803) in the United Kingdom. It’s finished in a new color called Power Pink, with other shades available, is matched with chrome details and gets 16-inch alloy wheels.

Two-tone upholstery, bordeaux-embroidered 500 logo and two new finishes for the dashboard called matte white and bordeaux are the defining features inside. Standard equipment includes the glass roof, 7-inch TFT screen with sat-nav, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, multi-function steering wheel and others.

The car is available in the hatchback and convertible body styles, with the 69 hp 1.2-liter petrol engine matched to a manual or automatic transmission, or the 85 hp 0.9-liter Twin Air, with a six-speed manual.

The 500 Rockstar has a starting price of £15,565 ($20,222/€18,000) and it’s “for those who adore the car’s sportier, wild side”, always according to Fiat. It’s available in a new matte look called Portofino Green, alongside other colors, has 16-inch alloy wheels and the bumpers and side sills from the Sport model.

New upholstery, two-tone dashboard, fixed glass roof and 7-inch display with sat-nav are part of the offering.

Like the 500 Star, the Rockstar model is offered in two body styles and with the same powertrain options, with the only difference being the Twin Air, which is coupled to a five-speed manual transmission.

Other updates include the 7-inch Uconnect infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which is now standard from the 500 Lounge upwards.

As part of Fiat’s 120th anniversary celebrations, those who buy a new 500 will get up to 6 months of free Apple Music.
