Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Children’s theatre workshop ‘Chandralok’ will be organised for the aspiring students by Karmyogi Creative Theatre Troupe. The workshop will begin from May 16 for which the registrations have started.
In this theatre workshop, several children of the city aspiring for theatre activities will be trained at their best skills by noted theatre personalities.
During this, children will be taught the voice modulation and also the, Subject improvisation and management skills as a director.
Director of theatre troupe Nitish Dubey said, “We will be providing training to enhance the theatre talent among the aspiring kids plus to provide them opportunity to display their talent before the people.”
All kinds of theatre forms will be taught to the students to get acquainted with theatre art. He said that the training programme is divided into three sections which included theory, practical and application.
Theatre is a collaborative form of fine art that uses live performances of may be real or imagined events on stage before the audiences.
Here the performers have to communicate these events through combination of gestures, speech, song, music and dance. There are different elements which play a vital role in theatre world on of which is stage craft, he added.
Stage craft is very important as half of the act becomes understood through the kind of set is being put up. The students are being trained to improvise the sense of acting, gestures, expressions and emotions.
The children will be taught basic acting exercises to strengthen their acting foundation. This training programme further aims to free kids from self consciousness and strengthen their concentration through sensory exercises.
The kids will be learning various forms of theatre performances and they would stage it before the Bhopalites on the concluding day of the workshop.
