Kamal Haasan booked for his ‘Hindu terrorist’ remark

Kamal Haasan's latest statement has brought him in the eye of the storm. He recently termed Mahatma Gandhi's assasin Nathuram Godse a 'terrorist'. While campaigning for his party MNM candidate for elections in Aravakuruchi in Karur district, the actor-turned-politician had said, 'The first terrorist of an independent India was a Hindu. His name was nathuram Godse.' According to reports, a case has been registered by police in Karur district of Tamil Nadu against Kamal haasan on the basis of a complaint lodged by Hindu Munnani district secretary KV Ramakrishnan.
