BJP State president B.S. Yeddyurappa said that party MLAs will raise the issue of farm loan waiver in the Legislative Assembly session, and “we will not allow the session to continue until the government relents on it.”

Addressing an election campaign in the Chincholi Assembly constituency at Chimanchod village of Chincholi taluk in Kalaburagi district on Monday, Mr. Yeddyurappa said that the coalition government, led by Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, has failed to deliver on its promise of farm loan waiver. The BJP has convened a meeting of all its legislators and MPs on May 27 to chalk out the future course of action and to protest against the Congress-Janata Dal(S) coalition, Mr. Yeddyurappa said. In an attempt to impress Kabbaliga/Koli community, Mr. Yeddyurappa assured them of all efforts for including the community in the Scheduled Tribes list.
