Bank personnel to display placards on safety guidelines at important junctions

As a part of the national campaign on traffic awareness, HDFC Bank on Tuesday started the three-day long ‘Traffic Paathshaala’ programme in the city.

As a part of the programme, the bank personnel will be with traffic police at important junctions where they will be display placards on safety guidelines. Motorists who follow traffic rules will be given token of appreciation. Those found violating the rules will be stopped and the guidelines, including wearing helmet and sporting seat belts, will be reiterated to them.

Launching the programme, Rajnish Barua, the Circle Head of the bank, told reporters that the programme was part of their initiative to save motorists from fatalities and injuries resulting from accidents.

Ashok, Police Inspector from Traffic West Police Station, said motorists should inculcate road safety rules, which, in turn, will make driving safe on city roads.
