Massive Cyclone Ann will hit Australia TOMORROW and smash towns with 100km/h winds

Ex-tropical Cyclone Ann is expected to batter the north Queensland coast with torrential rain and wind gusts of up to 100km/h on Wednesday morning.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a warning on Tuesday afternoon for severe weather in the region despite the system being reclassified as a tropical low.
The system will hit the coast north of Cairns, near the town of Coen, and bring with it heavy rain and sustained winds of 65km/h with gusts nearing 100km/h.
The system is currently 375km northeast of Cairns and heading towards the coast at a speed of 25km/h.

Far North Queensland can expect heavy rain from Wednesday onwards as a result of the out-of-season cyclone as it moves west across the state and into the Northern Territory.
The rest of the country is set to experience mostly clear weather and cooler temperatures as we head into the later stages of Autumn.
Sydney will see highs in the low 20s for the remainder of the week with sun on Tuesday and partly cloudy through Wednesday and Thursday.
Melbourne will be slightly cooler with highs of 19C on Tuesday, 17C on Wednesday, and 18C on Thursday.

North Queensland is set to see lots of rain this week but the rest of the country will be fine weather though cool

Temperatures in Canberra are set be be frosty this week before fining up later in the day
Further inland at Canberra it will fall to freezing temperatures of zero degrees on Wednesday and just one degree on Tuesday and Thursday, but will see highs of 18C on Tuesday and Wednesday and 19C on Thursday.
Brisbane will see some showers due to the cyclone further north in Queensland, however, temperatures will be pleasant with highs in the mid 20s.
Further west Adelaide will see fair weather and high of about 20C to 21C.
Perth will see sunshine and warmer weather with temperatures reaching the high 20s on Tuesday and Wednesday before cooling later in the week to a maximum of 19C on Thursday.
