AAP MLA from Okhla Amanatullah Khan and his supporters allegedly thrashed a man on Sunday for not supporting the party, the police said on Monday.
“Based on a complaint, an first information report has been registered under relevant sections against Mr. Khan,” said DCP (South East) Chinmay Biswal. The complainant, who used to be Mr. Khan’s supporter, said that the incident happened when he was near his house in Jamia Nagar. In the evening, a group of people headed by Okhla MLA surrounded him and thrashed him. He then made a PCR call and filed a complaint against MLA and his supporters at Okhla police station.
