A man found with the 'most serious category' of child pornography has escaped prison after he was found guilty and sentenced to a whole suspended jail term.
Police raided the Toowoomba home of Scott David White, 26, in August 2018 and discovered a number of electric devices containing up to 400 child pornography images, The Chronicle reported.
Crown prosecutor Paul Bannister told the Toowoomba District Court that of the 400 images a small number were 'of the most serious category of such material'.

White pleaded guilty to possessing and distributing child exploitation material and using a carriage service to access child exploitation material.
The court heard White had sought psychological help, and a letter from his psychologist was provided along with six character references.
Chief Judge Kerry O'Brien acknowledged that White had taken steps to curb his behaviour but said the nature of his offending was still 'very serious'.
'Anyone who accesses this material is playing a role in the exploitation of children somewhere,' Judge O'Brien said.
Judge O'Brien sentenced White to 18 months jail but wholly suspended the sentence.
White was also placed on the maximum three-year probation period and given a three-year good behaviour bond.
