Indrayani Express chain pulled as AC conks off

MUMBAI: Passengers of C-2 coach of Indrayani Express created a ruckus by pulling the chain as the air-conditioning was not working. Many passengers also shifted to adjacent compartments as they felt suffocated, said sources. “The AC was not working since the train departed from Pune Junction,” said a passenger, Harsh Vyas.
Central Railway’s chief PRO Sunil Udasi said, “We regret the inconvenience caused to passengers. We have decided to refund them.” The superfast Indrayani Express runs between Mumbai CSMT and Pune Junction.
