Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone shared a Mother’s Day video on Instagram which shows her mother Ujjala displaying her acting skills. Deepika added that she had inherited her acting abilities from her mom.

Sharing the video, Deepika wrote, “Now we know where I get my acting chops from...To my friend,guide, anchor, disciplinarian & role model...Happy Mother’s Day!❤️#UjjalaPadukone @anjubhavnani(apologies @nikhilsosale for exposing you like this!)” We see Ujjala even as Deepika’s voice asks her, “Ma tell us how Nikhil runs.”

Ujjala then goes on to display how Deepika’s friend, Nikhil, runs, with a glass of water. After she is done, the camera shows us Deepika for a fraction of seconds. The video attracted Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh’s attention who wrote, “Hahahahahha”. Bollywood actor Dia Mirza, too, dropped a heart emoji on the post.

Sunday was Mother’s Day and Bollywood celebs took to social media to honour and thank their moms with pictures and videos.

Deepika was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s Padmaavat which brought her both critical and financial success. She is currently working on Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, a film based on the real-life story of Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor.

Recently, she made a stylish appearance at the red carpet at Met Gala 2019 where she was spotted in camp Barbie look in a light pink gown. She is also set to walk the red carpet at the upcoming 72nd Cannes Film Festival to be held from May 14 to May 25.
