Maharishi Yogi found eternal world in meditation

Vedic training begins in Lambakheda

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, “If it would be said that just after the birth of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, his movement of creation had been started then there would be no exaggeration in it. The entire era of Maharishi is filled with knowledge.

Despite being born in a small house at tiny village, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who created the world of knowledge, is not hidden from anyone. He used to run cycles for 15 hours a day in his academic career. When he came to Jabalpur, he started searching his guru.

Gurudev Swami Brahmananda Saraswati was present for a day at Jabalpur during the rainy season. Gurudev Brahmananda Saraswati used to answer all the questions in just five minutes.

One day Maharishi Mahesh Yogi got the opportunity to visit him. Without even hearing a single word, he decided that his search has been completed and he considered Brahmananda Saraswati as his guru in his first meet.

Thereafter, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi once again found the eternal world in meditation and never returned home.” These thoughts were expressed by Maharishi Vidya Mandir School Group’s Chairman Brahmachari Girish Brahmachari while he was addressing the gathering during the inauguration of Maharishi Vedic Life’s Training Programme which was being held at Maharishi Center for Educational Excellence Camp, Lambakheda Bhopal.

Girish further stated in his address that nobody could be like Shankaracharya of the Badrika Ashram Himalaya for 165 years because Vedic scholars did not find any suitable scholar till then. Brahmananda Saraswati was declared as Shankaracharya in 1941.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi used to say that Gurudev’s knowledge is at first place and his blessings comes just next to it. When there was no means of communication in the whole world, then how difficult was the management of travel and dissemination of knowledge in so many countries.

He did not just travelled 124 countries, but also established institutions, schools, colleges and universities there. Therefore, we all should take an oath and set target in life keeping aside all the small excuses. I used to ask Maharishi many times such queries to which he replies there would be many hurdles and obstacles but keep going ahead.”

In this Maharishi Vedic Life Training Program which runs from May 9 to May 13, 140 students studying in Maharishi schools from different regions of the whole country have been selected and participating in the programme.

This nine-day training program is being organized jointly by Maharishi Vedic Administration Training Institute and Maharishi World Peace Movement. Professor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University Professor Bhuvnesh Sharma, Director, Communications and Public Relations VR Khare and Nitesh Parmar were also present to mark the programme.
