Horrifying moment a five-year-old boy darts into traffic and is hit by a SUV – but unbelievably walks away with just a sore ankle and a missing toe nail

A five-year-old boy is lucky to be alive after being hit by car when he ran into four lanes of oncoming traffic.
Dramatic footage shows the schoolboy narrowly avoiding being hit by a car travelling down Marion Road in Adelaide's south - only to be struck moments later by a black SUV.
He was desperate to find his family and ran across the busy intersection after he lost them on a walk, 7News reported.
The driver of the SUV stopped immediately and ran to provide the boy assistance, as did at least eight onlookers, who came running from other cars and the nearby shopping centre.
Despite the speed at which the car was travelling, the boy walked away from the incident virtually unscathed.
He suffered a sore ankle and is now missing a toenail, but avoided major injury.
The boy's family found him moments later, having ducked into a chicken shop nearby only minutes before.
The female driver of the SUV told the publication she was with her own children at the time and saw the boy's head 'pop up on her bonnet out of nowhere'.
She said she tried to swerve to avoid him, but it was too late.
Paramedics arrived and took the boy to the Women's and Children's Hospital for a check up and treatment.
