Preneet Kaur unable to understand difference between Anand Marriage Act and Sikh Marriage Bill: Dr Gandhi

PATIALA: Member Parliament from Patiala Dr Dharamvira Gandhi slammed Preneet Kaur for again making false claims and unable to understand the difference between the Anand Marriage Act 2012 and the Sikh marriage bill which was brought by him in the Parliament.
Gandhi claimed he had introduced the 40 pages ‘Sikh Marriage Bill’ in the Parliament in 2016 after discussing it with various Sikh scholars and historians including Gurtej Singh IAS.
The Anand Marriage Act has been rejected by the Sikh community as it does not maintain the identity of the Sikhs as a separate community and instead, they have been clubbed along with Jains, Hindus and other communities.
Preneet Kaur must know it the difference between the Anand Marriage Act 2012 and the Sikh marriage Bill. He said that it is utter lack of knowledge on part of Preneet Kaur.
While showing the action taken report Dr Gandhi claimed that the electrification and doubling of the track (Rs 1320 crore project) from Rajpura – Mohali and Rajpura – Bathinda were approved by his efforts. He said that speed limit of the train was also increased from 90 km to 160 km as the clearance to cut the trees, to further remove the hurdle of a turn near Baradari in Patiala, has been given.
While commenting over the claim of Preneet Kaur of getting approved the passport office during her tenure as MP, Dr Dharamvira Gandhi declared she is making false claims and said, "I feel pity over Preneet Kaur’s wisdom who is now trying to play petty politics by making false claims? I challenge her to come and debate with me on this issue and should also bring the documents like I had brought along with me while holding a conference here today. Earlier she had tried to befool the public by making the false claim that she had brought NIS and Thapar institute during her tenure and then backtracked from her claims when queried."
Gandhi claimed of having declared his vision plan for Patiala Lok Sabha constituency under which he would bring institutes and get the issue of Ghaggar pollution solved with Geopack technology. He said he had also written to Punjab CM over UDAN scheme for construction of a domestic airport in Patiala but he did not reply. He claimed to have requested the PM Narendra Modi over this matter.
Patiala is Hyper-sensitive; Congress MLAs threatening my supporters
Dr Gandhi claimed that the election observer should increase the paramilitary forces at booth level in this constituency as it is hypersensitive with ruling Punjab CM’s wife is contesting here. He alleged that some Congress MLAs in the constituency were making threats to his supporters. He claimed that campaign of AAP was being financed and run by the Congress in Patiala only to make losses to me.

He urged Congress ministers to revolt against Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh for issuing undemocratic threats to MLAs and ministers to lose their minister ship in case the Lok Sabha candidates lose their respective seats. He said that the complete failure of the state government and Capt. Amarinder over numerous issues including the false promises also counts the minus of votes.
He criticized Sam Pitroda statement on 1984 anti-Sikh riots and claimed that this was Pitroda's insensitivity towards human deaths and said that it was Sikh genocide.
