Xiaomi has already announced that the Mi9 and Mi Mix 5G would be a part of the list, and after Weibing’s hint, it is expected that the Redmi K20 Pro too would come with the latest Android Beta support.
Xiaomi is expected to unveil its Redmi flagship device called K20 Pro on May 13 in China. A flurry of leaks has surrounded the smartphone before its official launch which has revealed many specifications of the Redmi K20 Pro. The latest report suggests that the Redmi smartphone could launch with Android Q beta support upon launch.
Redmi general manager Lu Weibing on Weibo has hinted that the Redmi K20 Pro could come equipped with Android Q beta support. Google at the Google I/O announced that as many as 21 devices from 13 manufacturers would be eligible for Android Q rollout.

This means that early users of the Redmi flagship could possibly experience the latest Android Q and MiUi beta versions. This also means that the ones who choose to adopt Android Q beta would likely face several bug-related issues found on beta versions.
The Redmi K20 Pro is expected to launch in two variants with multiple storage options. The premium version could sport a 6.39-inch Full HD+ with a resolution of 1080*2340 pixels and run on Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with 6GB/ 8GB RAM and have storage options up to 256GB. It would feature a triple camera setup comprising of 48MP + 13MP + 8MP sensors at the back.
For selfies, the Redmi K20 Pro could have the same 32MP front camera as the Redmi Y3. Xiaomi’s GM Lu Weibing has teased a Redmi smartphone with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device is also expected to have a two-day battery life which is rumoured to have a capacity of 4,000 mAh. Xiaomi’s Smart Hardware Division general manager Tang Mu has hinted that Redmi could launch the flagship device on May 13 with ‘one more thing’.
