The Green Sauce is a much-loved dish in the Rhine-Main area of Frankfurt. Traditionally made of seven herbs and usually served with boiled potatoes and hard-boiled eggs, it even has its own festival in Frankfurt named the Green Sauce festival.
More than 5000 guests, 49 restaurateurs and numerous artists will take part in the seven-day event.
Each day of the festival, visitors have the opportunity of picking a winner from the many cooking teams sent forth by Frankfurt’s hotel and restaurant trade.
