Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will leave for Chennai on Sunday for a possible meeting with DMK president M.K. Stalin to discuss the role of regional parties in formation of government at the Centre after Parliament elections.
Mr. Rao could not meet Mr. Stalin during his five tour of Kerala and Tamil Nadu that concluded on Friday but it could not take place reportedly due to the busy schedule of the latter in by-elections to the Tamil Nadu Assembly. Mr. Rao returned to Hyderabad on Friday night and held an official review meeting on Saturday, sources said.
Sources said Mr. Rao will also visit Trichy on pilgrimage after meeting Mr. Stalin.
