BJP will form govt in Karnataka after bypolls, says BS Yeddyurappa

HUBBALLI: BS Yeddyurappa has reiterated that BJP would form government in Karnataka if they win Kundgol and Chincholi by elections.
Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, before proceeding to the Kundgol to take part in the election campaign, he said that BJP would win both seats.
He also expressed confidence that not a single leader from the BJP would go to Congress, whatever minister DK Shivakumar offer to them. "We will not topple the government, it will collapse on its own, after the election the discontent brewing among the legislators will erupt and that would lead to its collapse,” he said.
Ishwarappa Yeliwal, a Congress taluk panchayat member from Kubihal joined the saffron party in the presence of Yeddyurappa. He joined the party after meeting the party chief in a private hotel here on Sunday. Few members of Dyavanoor gram panchayat also joined the BJP.
