Walking for hope to cure Huntington's disease

Today in chico -- hundreds of people walked for hope -- in an effort to cure huntington's disease.

They met over at cedar grove park -- and walked three miles from bridge to bridge to bring people together.

The team hope walk is a fundraising event to improve the lives of people affected with h-d -- as well as their families.

My husband has huntingtons its in my family - people need to be aware --he used to drive around town and was reckless when he started to be symtomatic and peple thoght he was drunk but he wasn't it was just because of this disease" ## huntingtons is genetic, fatal and incurable.

About 30- thousand people in the u-s have it.

This was the first of what organizers hope to be an annual walk
