Sampoornam, wife of DMK organising secretary R.S. Bharathi, lodged a complaint with the Adambakkam police claiming that two persons attempted to snatch her gold chain. She said she was walking on Friday night near her house in Nanganallur, when two persons came on a high-end motorcycle and attempted to snatch her chain. She claimed that when she raised an alarm, the suspects fled the scene.
