Jalandhar, May 12, 2019: A Valedictory Ceremony was organized for the students of Skill Enhancement Courses, which were being run from the past one month at Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, free of cost. The courses being run during this period were – English Speaking, Cooking & Plating, Embroidery, Block Printing & Screen Printing, Business Communication Skills, Sculpting Skills, Dance, Painting, Anchoring, Quick Makeup Tips, Craft your Blog, Guitar & Keyboard, Photography & Video Editing, Creative Designing & Digital Painting.
All the students from the various courses, displayed their talent and skills which they had learnt at Apeejay College in the classes.
During the Valedictory Ceremony, a mash up song, group dance, paintings made by students, ramp walk, website designing was done by students who were groomed by the teachers of Apeejay. The college head-girl – Ria Sharma, presenting her views on college, said that it was the best decision to join Apeejay College as it has nurtured and groomed her in the best way possible.
Dr. Sunit Kaur, Registrar and Head Department of English, wished good luck to the students for future and suggested them to choose the right course and college for their future as it is going to shape their career and brighten their future.
Principal Dr. Sucharita Sharma opined that it is important for students to utilize their break after 10+2 exam effectively. With this idea, Apeejay took the initiative to run free Skill enhancement Courses, which would ultimately help them to look into where their interest lies and choose a career which would take them towards heights tomorrow.
