Youth kills cousin for slapping him during 'haldi' ceremony

AURANGABAD: A 20-year-old was stabbed to death by his cousin with a sharp-edged weapon during a pre-wedding ritual here on Friday night. The deceased, Akash Maruti Shelke, slapped the accused, Sachin Dashrath Shelke, over a trivial issue.
Unable to bear the insult of being slapped in the presence ofrelatives, Sachin drew a sharp-edged weapon and stabbed Akash in the chest. He has been arrested from Vashi in Mumbai, where he had fled following the incident.
