Women power in ‘pink booths’

‘Nari Shakti’ was on display Sunday in the all-woman-staffed booths that drew more women voters, especially from the Muslim community, officials said. In a first for the city, 17 such booths have been established in the seven constituencies of Delhi. Four of the seven district election officers-cum-returning officers were also women, and they were also quite enthused by the impact of the initiative.
