Two college students died and one was injured after a private bus rammed the two-wheeler on which they were travelling near Kancheepuram on Friday.

They were all second-year MSc students in a private college in Kancheepuram. The police said the victims were travelling triples on the bike from Padunelli on Friday morning when the accident happened.
The bus coming from the opposite direction hit them when they were nearing Kancheepuram.
While Ravikumar and Venkatesan died on the spot in the impact, Baskar was sent to Kancheepuram GH with severe injuries and later shifted to Chengalpattu GH.
The Siva Kanchi police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.
While the deceased were identified as S Ravikumar (21), a resident of Perumal Koil Street in Padunelli village, and S Venkatesan (21) from Maniyachi village, the injured was Baskar (21).
