Tragedy as soldier, 24, in Prince Harry's old regiment is found hanged in his barracks after a night out drinking with friends

A 24-year-old soldier in Prince Harry's old regiment was found hanged in his barracks common room.
L Cpl Joel Robinson had been out drinking with friends before appearing to take his own life.
Friends called him 'one in a million' and his guardian, speaking to The Sun, said 'everyone is mystified by his death.'

Dee Lockhart, 55, housed Mr Robinson since he was 15 in her Walton, Cumbria home.
She said: He had been out drinking with friends and we know a high percentage of suicides by young men are when drunk. But we had no inkling of any problems with Joel.'

L Cpl Robinson served with the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and was found in the common room of Combermere Barracks in Windsor, Berkshire.
The cavalry conformed that a soldier died while on duty in March. Prince Harry Also served with the Household Cavalry - also known as The Blues and Royals - from 2006, being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 2008.
Ms Lockhart added on L Cpl Robinson's death that he was 'the last person you would expect to do something like this.'
She said: 'One of his friends described him as "like a holiday rep in combats", and that was bang on.'
Opening an inquest this week, the coroner said the young man's cause of death was asphyxia due to hanging.
