Priyanka’s roadshow in Kashi on May 15

Varanasi: Congress general secretary for eastern UP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will attend a roadshow in Varanasi on May 15 to campaign for party candidate Ajay Rai, who is contesting against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the latter’s parliamentary constituency.
Varanasi would go to polls in the last phase of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on May 19.
She will begin her six-hour roadshow from the statue of Mahamana Madan Mohan Malaviya at Banaras Hindu University gate in Lanka area around 4pm.
PM Modi also started his road show from the same location on April 25, a day befor filing his nomination from Varanasi.
Congress spokesperson Satish Kumar Rai said that the road show would pass through Ravidas Gate, Assi Ghat, Bhadaini, Sonarpura, Madanpura, Jangambadi, Godowlia, and Baansphatak, before culminating at gate number 4 of Kashi Vishwanath temple.
Rai said after the road show Priyanka would visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Kal Bhairav Temple to offer prayers.
