Government should allot house to CPI leader Nallakannu: Stalin

M.on Saturday condemned the ruling AIADMK government in for asking veteran (CPI) to vacate the house where he was living.

In a statement issued here, Stalin said Nallakannu (94) was living on rent in a house which belonged to Housing Board (TNHB).

As the TNHB wanted to implement a new plan there, it had sent notices to all the residents to vacate the premises following which Nallakannu recently shifted to another rented accommodation.

Considering Nallakannu's age and his integrity in the public life, the should allot a house to him immediately, Stalin said.
