TVS Racing’s Adrien Metge continued his impressive run and stayed on top of the rankings after Stage 3 of the Desert Storm 2019.

His teammate Abdul Wahid Tanveer also dished out an impressive performance and finished at P3. At the end of Stage 3, Metge continues to lead Group A (above 250cc category), with Tanveer and R Nataraj following closely at P3 and P4 positions respectively. In the same group, RE Rajendra retained his ranking at P5. Aishwarya Pissay, who had broken into top 10 with a commendable performance on Thursday, could not start the stage due to a technical issue.
The marathon leg of 190 kilometres did not pose a major challenge for the victor as he kept his cool and rode through blazing heat and tough terrain. “It has been the toughest so far. I found good momentum early on and looked to manoeuvre the bike smoothly in the landscape. We have the final stage (on Saturday). It is important for me to stay in the lead and win it for the team,” said Frenchman Metge.
