Ludhiana: A group led by activist Kuldeep Chauhan on Thursday staged a protest on Gill Road against Lok Insaf Party (LIP) MLA Simarjit Bains’s brother for his alleged involvement in land grabbing across in Ludhiana.
Chauhan alleged that Bains and his brother Balwinder are running a one-man army and are working like a company, but don’t do justice with the people. He added that they are involved in land grabbing and have amassed several properties in the city.
Reacting to the allegations, MLA (South) Balwinder said the protest was politically motivated and was carried out by Congress supporters. He added that the protesters should prove the allegations against them.
