Manisha Koirala has been a big help during Sonali Bendre's battle against cancer

One of the deadliest diseases, cancer is spreading like flu and has affected a lot of celebrities like Manisha Koirala, Sonali Bendre, Irrfan Khan, Yuvraj Singh among others. Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with metastatic cancer, last year, post which the actress was in the States to get herself treated. The gorgeous diva has been rock solid throughout and has been an inspiration for many cancer survivors. However, she herself derives her strength and inspiration from actress Manisha Koirala, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2012 but was declared cancer-free by 2014, after she underwent a treatment. Talking about Manisha, Sonali said, 'Manisha has been a big help. She has been through it and is a survivor. She has also written a lovely book about it'.
