Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, A young man in front of a young woman preparing for competitive examinations in Ashoka Gardens area made obscene comments. The accused abused her when she protested.
After listening to the noise of the sister, her brother reached for rescue and another young man joined the accused and the duo gave a sound thrashing to the girl’s brother. The police have registered a case against both the accused, but their arrest has not been done.
According to the police, the 22-year-old girl from Budhni of Sehore district lives in a rented house with brother in the Ashoka Gardens area. Both brother and sister are preparing for competitive examinations. On Tuesday night, around 11.30 pm, the young woman was washing the face in front of the washbasin after she got out of the room.
A man named Sandeep Chauhan, who was seen in front of him, made obscene comments. When the girl resisted it, she began to abusive. When the brother, who came out of the room after hearing the voice of the sister tried to convince Sandeep, then he along with his friend beat the girl’s brother.
After this both of them escaped from the spot. The next morning, the young woman reached the police station and registered a case of tampering and assault against the accused. The police had confessed to the possible whereabouts of the accused, but they did not find any information. Police say that the accused will be arrested soon.
Woman succumbs to burn injuries
A woman living in Kolar area died during her treatment at hospital. She was admitted to the hospital due to burns with fire. The police have started investigations.
According to the police, Ranu Malviya’s wife Paras Malviya (40) lived at village Akbarpur Kolar Road and did domestic work. Two days ago at night he slept candle and went to sleep. Meanwhile, the candle fell on her bed, causing clothes to fire. The woman was severely burned by the fire. He was admitted to Hamidia Hospital for treatment, where he died on Wednesday morning. Police is investigating the case.
Body of youth from near bus stop
Govindpura Police recovered the body of a youth from the bus stop near the Second Entry of Habibganj Railway Station. The deceased has been told to live in Bihar. He came to Bhopal in search of work. After the family members’ arrival in Bhopal, his body will be made PM.
According to the police, on Wednesday afternoon at around 1:30 pm, a young man’s body was found on the bus stop in front of the station. Police reached the spot and recovered the body and made Pankhama and sent the post for postmortem.
The age of the deceased was about 22 years. On searching the clothes, the police got some mobile numbers written in the papers recovered from his pocket. The police contacted these numbers and sent photos of the deceased on Whatsapp, then it was identified as Pradeep Chauhan of Buxar in Bihar.
The family told the police that he had come out of the house in search of wages, but how Bhopal was approached, he did not know about it. When the house was told without informing them, the families also lodged their missing in the local police station.
Here, after questioning around the spot, it was found that the deceased was seen around the bus stop on Monday night. At that time he was seen in the condition of illness. It is estimated that his death would be due to illness. However, the police are waiting for his family members. The rites of the dead body will be done only after their arrival.
Woman ends life
A 26-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at her Nehru Nagar residence under Kamla Nagar police station area in the afternoon of Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Pinki Singh Chouhan. Police have not found any suicide note.
After the preliminary investigation, police sent the body for post-mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC. Police found that the husband of the deceased worked in the State Capital while the deceased belonged to Indore and wanted to go to her parents in Indore.Frustrated over the issue, she took the extreme step.
