Most Americans Question Whether They've Been Given Sufficient On-the-Job Training

A new study found 2 out of 5 Americans find their workplace environment challenging.????In fact a third of workers think their bosses lack key skills in communication, time management and mentorship.??????The study also found that as many as three in four office employees question whether their workplace has given them sufficient training for their job.????This is all according to a survey of 1,500 employees, 350 HR executives and hiring managers, and another 350 C-suite executives.??????The study was conducted by OnePoll on behalf of AVADO.??????The research looked at how communication policies, workplace infrastructure and company reorganizations impact the workplace environment.??????They found that training programs and companies reorganizing their structure, are the top two areas that are in need of attention according to HR executives and hiring managers.????C-suite executives on the other hand think that updating technology and software and hiring for specific skills are the top two areas in need of attention.??????It also appears that a lot of companies go through a reorganization period with 47 percent of employees reporting that they have gone through a reorganization within the past five years.??????And out of the three groups surveyed, HR executives and hiring managers were the least likely to be prepared for a reorganization.????
