Doors of Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand will open for the pilgrims. With the opening of shrine's doors, pilgrimage of four prominent Hindu shrines (Chardham Yatra) will begin. Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, are collectively known as Chardham. This pilgrimage attracts lakhs of visitors every year. Premises of Badrinath temple have been cleaned. Roads including foot trails leading to the temple have also been cleaned. This area received heavy snowfall this year.
