Avengers Endgame India box office: Marvel film grosses Rs 400 cr, sets new benchmarks
Marvel’s superhero epic Avengers: Endgame has grossed an unprecedented Rs 400 crore in India.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, “AvengersEndgame continues its heroic run... Has a solid Week 2, although the biz slowed down on weekdays... [Week 2] Fri 12.50 cr, Sat 18.30 cr, Sun 21.75 cr, Mon 8.25 cr, Tue 6.75 cr, Wed 5.50 cr, Thu 4.90 cr. Total: ₹ 338.35 cr Nett BOC. India biz. Gross BOC: ₹ 402.80 cr.”

Endgame crossed the Rs 50 crore mark on day one, Rs 100 crore on day two, Rs 150 crore by day three, Rs 200 crore on day five, Rs 250 crore on day seven and Rs 300 crore on day 10. It is the most successful Hollywood film in India, having already surpassed the lifetime total of its predecessor, Avengers: Infinity War.
Worldwide, Endgame sits at more than $2.3 billion, at the number two spot on the all-time list, behind James Cameron’s 2009 film, Avatar. Cameron earlier this week issued a congratulatory statement for Marvel Studios and producer Kevin Feige, after Endgame crossed the global total of Titanic. He wrote, “To Kevin and everyone at Marvel, an iceberg sank the real Titanic. It took the Avengers to sink my Titanic. Everyone here at Lightstorm Entertainment salutes your amazing achievement. You’ve shown that movie industry is not only alive and well, it’s bigger than ever.”
The film’s top 10 markets at the end of the second weekend, according to Deadline, were as follows: China ($575.8M), UK ($89.9M), Korea ($82.1M), Mexico ($61.6M), Brazil ($56.3M), India ($51.8M), Germany ($47.4M), Australia ($46.2M), France ($43.1M) and Japan ($34.4M).
