In The Garden: Add some 'living coral' to your gardenAs the sun continues to shine, it's a perfect time to head out into your garden and plant some flowers. I spoke to caleb johnson from johnson brothers garden market and he says if you want to be on trend this year, you might want to find plants of one particular color. So every year has a color of the year. So caleb can you tell me what's this years color of the year. What's it called? This year it is called living coral. So it's kind of an orangy coral color. So what i did this morning was to scour the nursery and pulled some things that i though resembled the color of the year. So what are some of these plants. Obviously some have a lot of the color, and some not so much. So next to you you have an azalea. A japanese maple with the new growth kind of having a coral color. Also another foliage plant, spiria, which will have flowers, but again the new growth has some of that coral color, which is fun are all of these pretty easy to take care of, or does it vary plant to plant? It varies plant to plant, but many of these are pretty easy. You have some begonias and petunias which are really easy. Little shrubs like barberries and azaleas. A lot of easy plants to take care of and a lot of flower power thank you so much caleb. And yes there is a lot of the color of the year here at johnson brothers garden market and if you have any gardening questions you can send | |||||
