Harry & Meghan Team Up with Kate & William to Launch 24-Hour Mental Health Text Messaging Service

New parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have teamed up with The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to launch a new Crisis Text Line in the UK named Shout.????According to Town and Country, Shout has been running for about a year now under the radar, with the young royal’s Foundation contributing almost $4 million to help get the service off the ground.????Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the official Shout launch at Kensington Palace on May 9.

Middleton said: “We feel that Shout is so important.

It’s able to offer support when it’s crucially needed, and the opportunity to turn lives around.”????Operating 24/7 Shout counts with 1000 volunteers to date but aim to have 4000 by the end of 2019.

The vast majority of the conversations had on the platform are with people under the age of 25 seeking help with issues like suicide, depression, anxiety or stress, relationship problems, and loneliness.??
