The Estonian Convention Bureau has just gained a new, high-powered partner in the world of academia. Tallinn University of Technology, also known as TalTech, became an ECB member. TalTech is the country's leading – in fact only – dedicated technical university. This busy hub of innovation is set out on a compact campus in a scenic area of the capital, Tallinn, making TalTech an ideal choice for any conference, particularly those with a cutting-edge technical, science or IT focus. In addition to a 700-seat assembly hall and numerous classical auditoriums, the university offers a long list of meeting facilities, including some unusual lab spaces and studios, and a hall with a 270-degree screen.

TalTech is the second academic institution to join ECB, whose ranks also include the Tallinn University Conference Centre. ECB Managing Director Kadri Karu said she hopes that the partnership with TalTech will put Estonia in an even better position to attract international conferences to Estonia.
