UP: Tundla-bound passenger train derails

AGRA: A Tundla-bound passenger train, from Agra Cantt, derailed on Friday morning, halting the traffic between Agra and Firozabad.

The derailment occurred near Agra city station close to Ghatiya Azam Khan market. According to railway officials, two wheels of the shuttle train derailed at around 8:10am, but no one was even injured.
“After the incident, a team of railway engineers and mechanical staff rushed to the spot and uplifted the train on track. The railway operation began at 10:30am,” said divisional commercial manager, S K Srivasatav of Agra railway division.
