NEW DELHI: The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has release the Common Admission Test (CAT) rank list.


The CAT - 2019 B.Tech/Integrated, MSc/BLET/BVoc/MSc/MA/MVoc/MCA/MLET Rank lists has been published by the CUSAT on its official website.

The CUSAT CAT 2019 Exam was conducted on April 6 & 7, 2019 in two shifts from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Candidates, who had appeared for the Computer Based Test (CBT), can check and download their rank list from the official website - https://www.cusat.ac.in.

Candidates can check their result through candidate login using their roll number. Candidates are advised to download and take the printout of the CUSAT CAT result 2019 and keep it safe till the admission procedure is over.

The rank list of CUSAT CAT 2019 has also been released along with the result of the entrance exam.

The qualified candidates will now have to participate in option entry and mock counselling that will be conducted by the university soon.

Candidates will be required to fill in their choice of colleges and branches in the order of their preference. After completion of the option registration process, candidates will have to download the CUSAT CAT counselling letter. The authorities will not send any separate invitation to candidates. On the day of counselling, candidates will be required to bring the letter along other relevant documents.


Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) is implemented in the campus. Students, depending upon their interests, can choose inter-disciplinary, intra-disciplinary and skill-based courses in CBCS. The choice based credit system not only offers opportunities and avenues to learn core subjects but also explore additional avenues of learning beyond the core subjects for holistic development of an individual. The CBCS will undoubtedly facilitate benchmarking of our courses with best international academic practices.


CUSAT is academically structured into 9 faculties: Engineering, Environmental Studies, Humanities, Law, Marine Sciences, Medical Sciences & Technology, Science, Social Sciences and Technology.


CUSAT has at present 27 Departments of study and research offering Graduate and Post Graduate programmes across a wide spectrum of disciplines in frontier areas of engineering, science, technology, humanities, law & management.


The CUSAT CAT rank lists have been released for these courses - B.Tech Lateral Entry, B.Tech Courses/5 Yr. M.Sc Photonics, B Voc in Business Process and Data Analytics Integrated, MSc (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics), Master of Applied Economics (M.A.A.E), M.A (Hindi), M.C.A, MCA Lateral Entry, M.Sc Chemistry, M.Sc (Biotechnology), M.Sc. Computer Science with specialization in Soft Computing, M.Sc (Electronic Science), M.Sc (Envn.Techn) Stream 2, M.Sc (Envn.Techn) Stream 1, M.Sc Hydro Chemistry, M.Sc (Instrumentation), M.Sc (Mathematics), M.Sc (Marine Biology), M.Sc (Meteorology), M.FSc in Seafood Safety and Trade, M.Sc (Marine Geology), M.Sc (Marine Geophysics), M.Sc Microbiology, M.Sc (Oceanography), M.Sc (Physics), M.Sc (Statistics), Master of Vocation in Mobile Phone Application Development and Master of Vocation in Technology and Management Consulting.
