SAP curriculum to enhance student employability

Ludhiana: The CT University has introduced certified SAP (Systems, Application and Products in data processing) courses for its engineering students to enhance employability. SAP helps companies of all sizes run better.
Throwing light on the course’s demand, vice-chancellor Dr Harsh Sadawarti said, “In Ludhiana itself, many leading industries are using SAP. But sufficient skilled personnel are not available in the market to cater to the need of the industry. So, CTU is training its staff and students to be SAP-certified professionals considering the high demand.”
CTU managing director Manbir Singh said, “The SAP employability programme aims at improving the employment prospects of students. Industry expects employable i.e. job ready candidates, and today, most of the business systems and processes are automated and run with integrated software solutions.”

Founder director of SEED Infotech and SAP education partner Shrikant Rasane said as a part of this collaboration, we will help the students to enhance their employability by imparting industry-oriented business process knowledge on the SAP platform and create an edge with SAP education in this competitive and demanding job market.
“There is an industry-wide requirement of experts who have the capability to transform enterprises digitally,” said Cam Brown, regional vice-president, Enablement and Adoption APJ & GCN. “Through our collaboration with institutes like CT University, we aim to enhance technical aptitude with new-age technologies of young India, hereafter building a digital workforce,” he added.
