Beto O’Rourke’s 2020 presidential campaign just bolstered its staff with a proven commodity.
????The O’Rourke camp announced that Jeff Berman would be joining the fold as senior adviser for delegate strategy.
????Berman is best known for working as then-candidate Barack Obama’s national delegate director in 2008.????In a statement, O’Rourke credited Berman for helping Obama defeat the favorite Hillary Clinton in the Deomcratic primary.????And also added that he was excited to have Berman’s “expertise and proven success in navigating the primary process” on his campaign.????O’Rourke’s campaign manager Jennifer O’Malley Dillon also worked on both of Obama’s campaigns.????In the statement, O’Malley Dillon emphasized the importance of the hire, saying Berman was, quote...????“...one of the first people I reached out to when I came on board because delegate strategy is so critical to our overall strategy.”
