PSEB 10th Results: Neeraj Yadav of Bihar scores 100% in sports category of Punjab board exam
Neeraj, who hails from Bihar, was interested in Marshal Arts when he joined the school four year ago. He represented the school at a national-level competition and bagged a silver medal.

Neeraj, who managed to get the first rank in sports category by securing 100% ( 450/450), aspires to become a software engineer.
Neeraj, who belongs to a poor family and a student of Teja Singh Sutantar Senior Secondary School, Shimlapuri, scored 100% by borrowing old books from school library.
Neeraj said he paid the school fee in instalments, and the school director and principal supported him.Neeraj’s father, Shiv Nandan Yadav, who works in a factory, said he always wanted to see Neeraj in the merit list. Neeraj’s mother, Gulabo Devi, a housewife said she was proud of her son.

Daughter of an electrician brings laurels
Another student, Kamalpreet Kaur of the same school bagged the third position in the state in the sports category. She scored 99.23%.
Kamalpreet, who lives in Shimapuri, aspires to become a Prime Minister.
She said, “I faced my financial problems, but the school authorities helped me by providing textbooks and fee concessions too. I studied two hours from 4 am to 6am and then in the evening too spend four hours revising the syllabus.”
Her father, Harneek Singh is an electrician and mother, Paramjit Kaur is a home maker.
