Actor Sonam Kapoor has shared an unseen video of her wedding on Instagram, to mark her first wedding anniversary with husband and businessman Anand Ahuja. The video shows several special moments from their big day last year, all beaded together to a romantic rendition of Edith Piaff’s La Vie En Rose.

Sonam also shared a heartfelt message for her husband, calling him her ‘ever after’. My Darling @anandahuja no one makes me feel as loved and cherished as you do. The kind of confidence and fulfilment I get from our relationship is unprecedented. I drowned myself in stories and lived in my dreams my whole life, And you came into my life and pulled me into a reality which was actually as beautiful as the best fairytale ever. You are, my ever after. I love you sweetheart happy anniversary,” she wrote as the video’s caption.

Sonam’s colleagues from Bollywood and friends also congratulated her on her anniversary. “Happy anniversary darlings,” wrote Malaika Arora in a comment. “Happy happy Anniversary my darlings!! Still owe ul a wedding gift,” wrote filmmaker Farah Khan. Pakistani actor Mahira Khan, Bollywood actors Disha Patani, Bipasha Basu, Esha Gupta, Neena Gupta and others also wished her.

Earlier on Wednesday, Anand too shared a message for his wife on Instagram. He shared a photograph of their wedding rings on Instagram. Alongside the image, he wrote: “I love posting these not because I love shoes (and you know I love shoes) but because the idea of looking down reminds me to stay present, grounded and most importantly grateful! I could tell you exactly where we were and what we were feeling at the time I took these.

“Today, to reflect on one year of marriage and three years being together - nothing could be more of a blessing than to have your life partner as your best friend and also be the person that is supportive but pushes you to be better, to be the person that is unconditionally loving but will tell you when you’re wrong and to be the person that will lead you into and through your fears - not allowing you to run away from them.” Anand said that every day is phenomenal with her. “Happy Anniversary to my... Sonam, you’re my guiding star!”

Sonam tied the knot with Anand on May 8, 2018. The grand wedding celebrations were attended by celebrities like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karan Johar. On the film front, Sonam will next be seen in The Zoya Factor opposite Dulquer Salmaan.
