The last time when the makers of Bharat introduced us to a song, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's romance had taken off pretty well. The song, titled 'Chashni', was just as sweet. This time, Bharat has come up with their next song titled 'Aithey Aa'.
The excitement around 'Aithey Aa' began just a day back but what really happens in the song is that Katrina Kaif steals the show right under Salman Khan's nose. Her bold attempts at wooing him do not go unnoticed, either on or off-screen and it is a twist which receives a thumbs up from us.
Salman Khan, as usual introduces us to the world. This time around, India has won the 1983 World Cup (which will be showcased in a movie by Kabir Khan, featuring Ranveer Singh). When the first glimpses of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif begin to emerge on screen, is when we realize that the song is going to be a wedding/sangeet song.
Interestingly the song has Kaleidoscopic effect but it is not extremely trippy, giving us the right balance between earthy and modern. The song also features Shashank Vyas and Sunil Grover for a few seconds. As soon as Katrina Kaif enters the scene, she performs like she is the one who has actually won the World Cup home.
Vishal-Shekhar's music sets the mood right and if that was not enough, Katrina flirts with Salman Khan openly. In fact the hook line 'Aithey Aa' is also Katrina ordering Salman Khan to come closer to her (again openly flirting with him). Her dance moves, of course, can swoon anybody, and hence, she grooves in a sensuous manner next. Salman Khan however has not yet weakened in the knees completely and has a dance face-off with her, which is quite cute indeed.
Next on, Katrina Kaif seduces Salman Khan with a rose, pouts with him and jumps into his arms, stunning everybody around her on-screen and off it too. The cherry on the cake is Katrina stealing a kiss right from Salman Khan's lips on to hers, not directly, of course.
Salman Khan is dressed in a black shirt-pant throughout the song, while Katrina mesmerizes in a pink saree. Their dance moves, choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, are simple and perfect for an end-moment/limited practice for a wedding. Katrina Kaif's curly waves and Salman Khan's aviators are an added bonus to the track.
Here, take a nice look at Bharat song 'Aithey Aa':
